Halloween 2010

Garrison and Josiah were our little milk and cookies this year.  I saw this in one of my Parents magazines and had to make it.  It was a lot of fun making them, but I think that next year I'm going to be buying their costumes.  Unless, of course, I see another really cute idea and can't pass it up.  Plus, it was super cheap and I think they turned out really cute.  We got lots of compliments on them. 

 Went with our friends Andrea and Avery Dickinson to the hospital that Garrison and Josiah were born at and the hospital that Andrea works at and went trick-or-treating there for a little bit.  Then we went back to the Dickinson's house and Tom and Ryan took Avery and Garrison out and went around the block.  We took these pictures between places and that's why Garrison is having a "slight" melt down.  He didn't want to put his costume back on and take his picture or go back out trick-or-treating, but as soon as he knew more candy was involved he was off and running.  Kids and candy!

These two crack me up.  We've been a little lazy lately with sicknesses and schedules being out of wack so they've been watching lots of PBS.  I saw these two watching tv together and had to grab the camera.  Of course as soon as I do they have to look away from the tv or at me (which is why Josiah is squinting at the bright flash.) 

On somewhat of a side note:  Doesn't Josiah look huge in this picture?  He's getting to be such a big boy.  What happened to my baby?  He can get from sitting to standing without the help of anything and is trying to take a few steps on his own.  In no time he'll be running after his brother or running the other direction.  Then life will be fun!

I'm a cowboy

Garrison came up to me one day with this hat on his head and said, "Mom, I'm a cowboy."  "Are you sure you're not a fisherman?"  "Nope, me cowboy. Yeeeeehaaaaaw."  And off he went.

Josiah turned one of September 24.  We celebrated with just the four of us.  I made ice cream cone cupcakes for his "cake".  I wanted to do something different since our family isn't a big cake family.  We shot a few videos of Josiah getting sung to and eating cake.  Enjoy!
